Vintage French 1.60ct Sapphire & 1.05ct Diamond 18ct White Gold Cluster Ring c.1970

Stunning French 1.60 carat sapphire and 1.05 carat diamond, 18 carat white gold marquise shape dress ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold. The pierced decorated ring setting is ornamented with a central cushion cut blue sapphire, flanked with two round cut sapphires, all individually claw set in a linear arrangement. The central sapphires are encompassed within a marquise shape setting incorporating eighteen pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The tapering shoulders trifurcate and integrate with the main setting, blending with the plain shank. This vintage 1970's cocktail ring is hallmarked to the outer shank with the French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head). The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
