Description
Offered for your consideration is this vintage Mascot ASB powder compact dating circa 1950. This powder compact measures 8 cm in diameter and is made of gold tone metal with decorative machine turned pattern. At the centre of the lid is a floral petit point insert under domed lucite covering.
The compact has firm hinge and secure catch, and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed glass mirror under the lid. The powder well in the base has a hinged door marked to the centre cartouche with the Mascot name. The powder well beneath retains the original metal edge sifter.

Offered in good condition with no dents or dings to the case. The gold tone metal has some very minor marks to the base but there is no metal tarnish.
