A vintage oak two drawer desk or console table by Gordon Russell with the Air Ministry stamp underneath. This one is a fine example in a lighter oak than most of its counterparts. A stylish mid-century piece in English Cotswold School design, a good size with two drawers offering a generous workspace as a computer desk or writing table. In a beautifully figured oak, with a moulded top and chamfered legs united by a cross stretcher. This one survives in very good order with sensible day to day wear. The drawers are running as they should, sitting firm with no wobbles, original wooden turned knobs and no repairs. Smells fine and in sensible condition all round, having been waxed and cleaned.
