This is a stunning, fine and impressive antique black onyx and 1.06 carat diamond (total), 18 carat yellow gold dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive vintage cocktail ring has been crafted 18ct yellow gold. The substantial yellow gold mount is ornamented with a black onyx, reflecting a batwing style design. The blank onyx is segmented with a concave band of twenty-eight pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds; this segment reflects a portion equivalent of the aforementioned onyx's inverted fluted ornamentation. The tapering shoulders integrate the setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This impressive and substantial vintage onyx and diamond cocktail ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
