Vintage Onyx, Diamond & 14ct Yellow Gold Pendant / Brooch c.1970

This is a fine and impressive vintage onyx, 0.08 carat diamond and 14ct yellow gold pendant/brooch; part of our vintage brooches collection. This fine and impressive vintage onyx brooch/pendant has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold. This iconic Art Deco brooch is embellished with an impressive collet set onyx panel, bearing a tiered geometric carved design. The lower portion of the setting is ornamented with two offset stepped panels, ornamented to the centre with seven pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. This brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp fastening. This versatile vintage onyx brooch may also be worn as a pendant, suspends from a contemporary 9ct yellow gold 18'' curb chain via the incorporated loop to the reverse, securing to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring. This impressive vintage brooch/pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 14ct gold mark (585) and the maker's mark (Ee). This stunning vintage black onyx brooch in gold is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card.
