Vintage Pine Collectors Chest

This is a characterful bank of collectors drawers which dates to the early 20th century. This piece is not particularly large but is solid, heavy and well made from pitch pine and pine. It is ideal for storing all manner of small items, perhaps for use in a workshop or crafting room. The front of the chest is fitted with eight graduated drawers which are finished with later wooden knobs. Sometime in the mid 20th century vintage style tapered legs have been added, these can be easily unscrewed if desired. The bottom two drawers are partitioned. The wood has a wax finish which has a mid sheen. I have placed a chair next to it in one of the photographs to give an idea of its size.
