Exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Scottish 9 carat yellow gold signet ring; part our gent's jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive vintage men's signet ring has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.
The cut cornered square face of this armigerous signet ring is embellished with a chased decorated seal matrix (intaglio) of an eagle rising, all above the motto 'Moveo et proficior' - I proceed and am more prosperous*.
The flared ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 9ct yellow gold ring shank.
The interior of the ring bridge is hallmarked with the 9ct gold guarantee mark (9ct) the maker's mark (E.T.+), the Edinburgh Assay Office mark (thistle) and the date letter for 1944 (O).
Note: * These heraldic markings pertain to the Knox family.
