This exceptional vintage English sterling silver caster has a tapering cylindrical form, in the Design style.
The lower portion of the body is embellished with an impressive chased decorated trellis design.
This exceptional example of silver teaware retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, encircled with panels of pierced geometric motifs; reflecting a variation of the Design style trellis design to the body.
The cover is surmounted by a tapering rounded sterling silver finial.
