Vintage Table Top Haberdashery Chest for Cotton Reels

This is a vintage haberdashers cotton reel chest dating to the mid 20th century. The chest is fairly compact and is made of solid wood. It is perfect for use on a desk top, ideal for stowing away small items and collectables. The front is fitted with three shallow partitioned drawers which are finished with small brass drop handles. The chest has been stripped at some point in its life and you can see remnants to the drawer fronts of faded lettering, such a shame this has been removed. The chest has a very matt unwaxed finish. The drawers bases are a little gappy at the front.
