W & H "Ting-Tang" Bracket Clock

A superb example of these ever popular bracket clocks by the World renowned maker Winterhalder & Hoffmeire. A beautifully polished oak case, retaining it's original French-polished finish. It has reeded, canted corners, a leaf carved caddy top and an egg and dart style moulded plynth base over 4 pad feet. There are glazed panels to the sides through which the movement can be seen. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with black engraved Roman numerals interspaced with star clusters. The outside minute ring has 5 min Arabic numerals. There are gilt spandrels to the corners and subsidiary rise & fall and Strike/Silent dials to the top. The 8 day movement strikes with a double "ting-tang" to the quarters and the no. of hours on the hour with a beautifully crisp resonating tone. It has just been fully overhauled by our Bhi registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts & labour guarantee. It is signed with the makers logo. All cards accepted
