Description
We present for consideration, this fine late-Victorian fusee wall timepiece with 12” dial.
The clocks Walnut roundhead face sits over its boxed cabinet. There is hinged inspection door located to the side of the box and a hinged lockable regulator door located at the bottom of the box, with its original key (the bottom of the box having been rendered with replacement veneer to a good standard).
The clock retains its original metal dial, with black Roman numerals, and is in good order, finished with its pair of blued spade hands secured with a pinned collet and protected by glaze mounted in its original spun brass bezel.
The clock benefits from a fabulous Brass high quality 8-day single fusee driven movement set between rectangular plates and turned pillars and comes with its original brass pendulum bob and winding key.
