Watch: Gents 1950s Kered Wrist Watch

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. You will notice that there are a couple of empty holes within the movement, these are sometimes used for retaining screws but in this particular case, the movement is held in place by a retaining ring. The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. It is all in lovely condition. The lens is in lovely condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand with pointer end. The name Kered was used by the London importer Louis Braham. He was agent for various makers including Avia. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
