Watch : Gents 1960s Avia-matic Wristwatch, Super Condition

The watch has a good quality 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in beautiful condition. Light surface marking to the stainless steel screw-on case back but nothing serious. It also states that the watch is water resistant but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, centre seconds hand and a date display (this is an early form of quickset date where the hands are repeatedly moved backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached).
