Watch: Gents 1970s Hamilton Tissot Wrist Watch

The watch has a 17-jewel Tissot 781-1 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Hamilton name. In 1971, the Omega & Tissot Holding Company SSIH purchased the Hamilton brand. It utilized the Hamilton name for several branding efforts, such as the example we have here. The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the case back, signed Hamilton inside, is stainless steel. The lens is in nice condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand. There is very light marking across the dial, not too detrimental at all. A later leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in its Hamilton presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
