Archibald Knox was a prolific Manx designer of Scottish descent best known for his work with Liberty of London at the start of the 20th Century. Knox produced designs for many materials including paper, pewter and silver. His designs embraced traditional Celtic motifs which were very popular during the Arts & Crafts Period, but his work also crossed over to other styles including Art Nouveau and Modernism. Today Knox is admired and collected for the timeless beauty of his designs and clever use of materials. At LoveAntiques.com we have a good range of original pieces by Knox as well as some in his style, all from trusted dealers across the UK.
