Joseph William Carey - Artist

Joseph William Carey (1859-1937) was an illustrator, seascape and landscape artist born Belfast. In 1893 Carey showed his first work at the Watercolour Society of Ireland Exhibition and ended up contributing a total of 70 pictures over the years. Joseph was an active member of the Belfast Art Society and later became an Academician of the Ulster Academy of Arts
