Phyllis Morgan - Artist

Phyllis Morgan RGI (1911-2011) was born in Enfield she studied at St Martins School of Art. Lived mainly in Gloucestershire and Suffolk. Member of Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts and also an honorary Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Painters/Stainers. She painted in oils and subjects included landscapes, portraits and flowers, she held a considerable number of solo shows and many of her works had been reproduced, several in the 'Laing' calendars. She exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The Royal Society of Marine Artists.
