W.H.Grindley & Co was founded in 1880 in Stoke, Staffs, by William Harry Grindley, Albert Turner, and Alfred Meakin. The firm produced earthenware and Ironstone China for their UK clients, and exported widely to markets in North and South America and Australasia, where their ceramic wares were also very popular.
