Item of the Week - Vintage Russian Enamel Egg Earrings

Easter is around the corner and as the evenings are getting lighter, our item of the week reflects everyone's excitement to celebrate a holiday with friends and family! We have chosen these Vintage Russian Enamel Egg Earrings, helping reflect the start of Spring.

Based on the ever popular design of the famous Faberge egg jewels, these Vintage Drop Earrings are crafted from heavy silver gilt with cobalt blue enamelling and guilloche enamelled bow tops. The egg drops, which are suspended from these pretty bow tops, are set with delicate ruby paste cabochons and boast a criss crossing design of golden gilt. They are extremely pretty and very well made with a great sense of luxury and decadence. 

Faberge egg jewels have been described as an object of fascination, mystery and exceptional artwork. 50 highly creative and artistic eggs were created by Peter Carl Faberge between 1885 and 1916 for the Russian imperial family.
