This is a stunning antique Victorian 1.16 carat diamond and 0.08 carat ruby, 9 carat yellow gold and silver set 'bear' brooch; part of our diverse antique and estate jewelry collections This stunning antique brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting. The Victorian animal brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised bear's head. The pierced decorated, silver set design is embellished with a total of ninety-five pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The bear's eyes are represented by two collet set cabochon cut rubies. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. The brooch has been left in original antique condition and has not been professionally cleaned; The tarnish may be removed to obtain a brighter finish if so required. This Victorian animal brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold and silver. The bear brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
