18th Century Gilt Metal Chatelaine with Etui and Thimble Holders

An 18th-century gilt metal chatelaine with etui and thimble cases, the chatelaine and etui with moulded reserves depicting classical figures, the etui containing a folding fruit knife, bodkin, pencil holder, and snuff spoon. One thimble holder contains a gilt metal or brass thimble. Overall length 19cm (7.5in) Condition: Very good. No damage. Some wear to gilding at high points. The etui and thimble cases are all opened by button catches, all of which function properly.
