This fine and impressive antique ruby brooch has been crafted in 12 ct yellow gold with silver settings.
The brooch has been modelled in the typical Belle Epoque style and displays a feature cushion faceted cut Thai ruby, 12 ct yellow gold claw set to the centre of the arrangement.
This central ruby is encompassed with eight individually collet set diamonds, alternating in size.
The silver set brooch has a naturalistic, symmetrical scrolling design embellished with forty-two pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
A feature 12 ct yellow gold claw set cushion cut ruby suspends from the lower border of the design.
This stunning example of antique jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin.
This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 ct gold and silver.
