This is a stunning, fine and impressive vintage French 2.28 carat diamond and 0.52ct ruby, 18 carat yellow gold and platinum set dress ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive vintage French ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with a platinum setting. The substantial Art Deco design is ornamented with an impressive feature four-claw set 1.50 ct Old European cut diamond, displayed in relief to the centre of the stepped platinum mount. The principal diamond is flanked on either side with impressive four-claw set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 0.78 carats. The ring is further ornamented with eight baguette cut rubies, paralleling the upper and lower borders of the elevated, stepped central design. The broad ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank. This vintage ring is hallmarked to the surface of the shank with the maker's mark, in addition to the French 18ct gold fineness guarantee mark (eagle's head) and platinum guarantee mark (dog's head). This impressive vintage dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
