2.54ct Sapphire, 3.25ct Diamond & Platinum Leaf Brooch c.1930

Stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.54 carat sapphire and 3.25 carat diamond, platinum leaf brooch; part of our diverse antique sapphire and diamond jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in platinum. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a leaf. The pierced decorated curvilinear design is segmented into four opposing sections; two incorporate a total of twenty mixed cut channel set sapphires. The alternating panels bear forty-four pavé set diamonds in a combination of transitional modern brilliant round and eight cuts. The stylised leaf brooch is further ornamented with two channel set baguette cut diamonds to the stem, completing the design. This diamond and sapphire brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive brooch is supplied with an Idgl diamond grading report card. Such high quality examples of this stunning design are rare to the market.
