Description
A porcelain, helmet shaped cream jug produced at the A & E Keeling factory around 1790-1800. Decorated with the hand-painted 'knitting pattern' design in bright enamel colours. The base bears the hand-written pattern number, 85 (?).

The jug stands 5 1/4 inches high and measures 4 inches from spout to handle
