Description
This is a beautifully ornate Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter Spoon from the late 1800s. It would be perfect for using to decorate cakes with icing sugar powder or putting cocoa on cappuccinos.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.
The sifter spoon has a pretty hexagonal bowl and a tapered handle decorated with a lovely flowers and leaves pattern at the top. On the back of the handle it has the makers mark and Hallmarks.
It was made by George Edwin Walton & Co Ltd and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1894.
The silver is shiny with a few tiny bits of tarnish in the bowl. The bowl is a fraction less symmetrical on one side which adds to the character but doesn’t affect its use.
