Antique Dining Table Refectory Table in Oak with Strong Gothic Style

Condition The top has a couple of small shrinkage cracks. some small pieces of carvings missing and some shrinkage cracks. The top has years of patina. The legs at one end show signs of repair. All these points just add to the superb table. See images. Description Super oak dining or refectory table of generous proportions. Sturdy whilst light in its construction. Its difficult to age the table. The legs would appear to be Victorian or even late Georgian. . The top would appear to be added later and looks to be Edwardian early 20th century. Very ornate gothics stretchers with beautifully curved braces. Legs and stretchers have wonderful carvings. The top have a great patina with a pleasant oak cornice just under the edge. Its sits just very slightly higher than a standard table at 81cm. Candelabras not included.
