Antique Early Treen 19th Century Lignum Vitae String Box - English 1800-1820

I was very pleased to buy this early 19th Century (1800-1820) English antique string box, as I have not seen this shape or type before....really nice being made of lignum vitae and of course it has gained a wonderful colour and patina from years of careful use....it is in very good condition and still retains the original cutting blade.....it comes from a private collection.
