This exceptional antique Edwardian cast sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of an eared owl perched on a branch.
This impressive pepperette is embellished with decoration reproducing the details of the bird's plumage and anatomical features, in addition to the organic details of the branch.
This Edwardian owl pepperette retains the original fully hallmarked push fit cover/head which features pierced 'pepper' holes.
Such superior examples of original period pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
