Antique Prince of Wales Feathers Cufflink or Desk Tidy

This delightful silver 'bun' shaped Mappin & Webb tray is surmounted by a later cast silver portrayal of the Prince of Wales Feathers beautifully executed by a London Silversmith with the assay mark 'E&J'. Despite being 'a marriage' this piece is very elegant and could be used for many purposes, perhaps as a desk, dressing table or earring tidy, or place marker, 'Reserved' marker, table or floral table decoration, etc.
