Antique Regency Period Chest of Drawers

This is a superb large country house chest of drawers which dates to the Regency period. Made of cross banded and strung mahogany it is a quality piece which is nicely made and elegantly styled. The chest is fairly large and will provide an good amount of storage in any home, it is timeless and has a lot of character. The front is fitted with five pine lined drawers which are finished with brass drop handles set on oval back plates and bone escutcheons. The drawers well and the interiors are in clean condition. The chest is set on tall swept bracket feet and the wood has a French polished finish which has a nice sheen. The chest has been sympathetically restored over the years and has much character and a good sense of history. Please take a look at all of the photos to get an idea of its general condition.
