An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver bachelor teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection.
This exceptional antique Victorian teapot, in sterling standard silver, has a circular rounded form.
The body of this bachelor teapot is encompassed with an applied girdle above convex fluted decoration.
The plain upper portion of the teapot is embellished with flared shoulders, encompassed with an applied fluted border to the rim.
This Victorian silver bachelor teapot is fitted with a hallmarked flush hinged cover, surmounted with the original and impressive cast silver fluted finial, securing to the interior with a wingnut; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece.
The teapot is fitted with a fine and impressive ribbed C shape handle, accented with a large leaf decorated lower terminal.
This exceptional example of Victorian silverware features a plain swan neck spout.

This Victorian teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the teapot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
