This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mug has a circular rounded form to a plain circular spreading foot.
The body of the mug is embellished with an exceptional and desirable chased decorated scene depicting four children playing on a braced fence within a rural setting.
The decoration to the mug incorporates a large shaped cartouche in the form of a tree bordered clearings to the posterior potion.
The upper rim of this fine Victorian silver mug is encircled with an applied moulded border.
The mug is fitted with an impressive S scroll handle incorporating a plain scrolling thumbpiece, in addition to the upper and lower sockets.
