This exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver presentation trophy has a plain bell-shaped vessel supported by three crossed riffles to a circular spreading base.
The impressive vessel is embellished with a bright cut engraved wreath bordered vacant cartouche.
The impressive supports forming the cup's pedestal are realistically modelled in the form of rifles, accented with a central suspended cast silver leaf wreath.
The rifle handles terminate to a plain circular spreading base.

This antique presentation piece is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
This English silver trophy has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
The cast decoration is all very sharp and the bright cut engraved ornamentation is very crisp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the trophy vessel and part hallmarks to the underside of the base are all clear; hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
