Description
On offer is this 1920s flapper era pendant powder compact complete with original broad link chain and finger ring. The case measures 4 cm in diameter and the total length including the chain and ring is 15.5 cm. The case is made of German silver (also known as nickel silver and is a copper alloy). The lid has fabulous guilloche enamel with pretty floral decoration and lovely sunray design.
To the underside of the lid is a clear and reflective glass mirror and the powder well in the base has the original lambswool puff with silk backing. The backing is frayed and has come unstitched.

This compact is offered in good condition with no dents or dings to the case. The guilloche enamel is free of chips or cracks. The metal has some areas which show the copper base metal coming through.
