Art Deco Mesh Bottom Powder Compact Circa 1930

On offer is this attractive circa 1930 mesh powder compact. The case measures approx. 7 cm in diameter across the base. The case is made of white metal and the lid has blue enamel with central white metal floral design in high relief at the centre. The base is blue mesh. The compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a framed mirror under the lid which is clear and reflective. The deep, open powder well in the base retains the original sifter and thick puff. This powder compact is offered in good condition with no flaws noted. Thank you for looking.
