Black Music Cabinet Chest of Drawers, Office Stationery Chest

A charming small antique music chest dating to the early 20th century. Made from mahogany and mixed woods the chest is solid, heavy and well made with a bow front. The chest is fitted with six fall front drawers which are finished with decorative brass drop handles. Each drawer can be pulled open before the front drops down for ease of access. It is perfect for storing sheet music or could also be used is an office for storing paperwork and stationery. I have hand painted this piece in my own blend of water based black paint before lightly distressing the finish and then waxing for protection. The paintwork is solid colour and has a nice sheen. Measurements: 88cms high x 54cms wide(at the base) x 42cms deep each drawer is 7cms high x 39cms wide x 27cms deep Condition: The chest is generally in solid structural condition with various small cosmetic marks of age and use.
