Early 20th Century Canadian Folk Art Maple Wood Carved Inuit Figure Group

This superb rare figure group is a piece of Canadian folk art. It is beautifully hand carved in Canadian yellow maple wood, a heavy, dense timber. It depicts two young indigenous people from the Arctic region of Canada in a romantic meeting whilst both out in their kayaks on open choppy water captured in a lovely warm embrace and kiss.
