Description
A very fine quality pair of Victorian silver sugar tongs with cast pierced and engraved arms of scrolling flowering vines and further engraved decoration around the edges of the bridge and along the arms to the bowls. Hallmarked Sheffield 1899, maker Thomas Levesley (Levesley Brothers).

They measure 10.5cm (4 1/8") long and weigh 29g / 1.0ozt. A very good gauge of silver, the thickness on the arms is 2mm.
