Description
First period Worcester porcelain heart / kidney shape dessert compotier painted in polychrome enamels in a style and palette characteristic of the later 1760s factory decoration including yellow and a rather dark grey-purple. Rose and leaf repeating border and large floral sprays in the centre with further scattered small floral sprigs. Finished with a simple gilded rim. Unmarked, c.1765-1768
