I specialise in affordable original artworks - mainly traditional watercolours and oil paintings but I also have a range of contemporary artworks including limited edition lithographic prints. I also stock a limited selection of antiques and collectables, including treen, ceramics and glass. I have now opened a shop in Wallingford (OX100BU) between Reading and Oxford, but I also trade online. My website, www.artandstuffgallery.com has a gallery section with several mini-galleries where my items are displayed, including more contemporary items not shown on LoveAntiques.

Description
Frank Taylor (b.1946) studied Fine Art at Cardiff and Brighton Colleges of Art.He went on to teach fine art, graphic design and illustration at Amersham and then Salisbury College of Art. He is widely travelled in Europe, Turkey, North Africa and America and his paintings and prints are said to be inspired by the landscape, architecture, people and art of distant places.
Most of his work is an abstract melange of shape and colour. This example certainly has an exotic feel about it and is strangely compelling. Judging by the original frame, we think this dates from 1970s/80s.
