Description
A wonderful silver George II period waiter of circular form with scroll and shell border decoration, hallmarked for London 1749 by renowned Huguenot silversmith Samuel Courtauld. Sitting on 3 hoof feet, engraved with a central armorial. Measuring 18.6cm in diameter and weighing 266 grams. In fantastic condition for its age, the hallmarks are clear, it sits perfectly flat on its feet, a real antique of the upmost quality. There are some minor scratches to the top but otherwise in good order.
