Description
We have for sale the perfect gift for the lover of Charles Horner Jewellery and Yorkshire history. A very attractive and unusually heavy Charles Horner adjustable solid silver bracelet.
This lovely bracelet was one of the popular of his designs consisting of a silver band chased with a lovely foliate engraving and fabricated such that it could be adjusted to fit multiple wrist sizes. This particular bracelet is one of the harder to find larger heavier examples consisting of band that stands 1 inch (2.5cm) high and consequently the bracelet weighs a heavy 31g (approximately 1 Troy ounce). Like the majority of the high quality Charles Horner jewellery, this bracelet/bangle carries full English hallmarks for Chester along makers marks for Charles Horner and the date letter for 1944.
This bracelet is in an excellent condition although there is some very slight rubbing of the makers mark.
