A neat small “Boudoir” clock by the superior Swiss maker Albert Imhof.
Dating from the mid 20th Century it is modelled on an 18th Century French style.
It has the usual Imhof quality 8-day movement which is running well, but untouched so does not carry any guarantee.
Some wear to the finish and brass lacquer.
The lacquer on the faux Tortoiseshell is slightly worn too.
Arthur Imhof S.A. of La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland, was founded c.1924 and was in business until 2001. They specialized in small clocks and were often called the “Rolls Royce” of table clocks.

Please be aware that the item is old and antique and study any photographs to satisfy yourself as to its condition as much as possible.
While we make all efforts to provide something that is fit for the use intended there may be various condition issues that are commensurate with age and considered part of its history, and are very subjective.
However, you have legal rights and Consumer Contract Regulations (2014) still apply for “Distance Selling “ if this is not a “face-to-face” purchase.
