Large 19th Century Rosewood Footstool - Upholstered, French Cabriole Legs

This is a high quality large antique footstool which dates to the late Georgian period, early 19th Century. The cabriole legs are all beautifully carved and shaped in solid rosewood, and the curved shape of the stool is picked out in rosewood beading below a close nailed well upholstered top . The frame is all original and in very sound condition. The upholstered top has a webbed base and firm well shaped horsehair stuffing. The top covering has been renewed with a deep pink hard wearing woven fabric.
