Description
How can something as utilitarian as a Pestle & Mortar look so nice? Well this one does, what a lovely paint finish.
Once a very valuable additional to most kitchens, just imagine wandering into your garden, picking the fresh herbs from your garden and creating something interesting in years past.
Thought to be Scandinavian, this pine painted pestle &n mortar just looks perfect with its old worn off white painted exterior. Worn away with decades of use.
The pestle has been formed into its rudimentary club shape design and once would have had more paint if not for the use its seen.
The mortar has a very charming goblet shape and a delicate style, maybe used for making lotions and potions form herbs. Painted on the outside and natural pine on the inside of the bowl.
Just a delight to look at and would look perfect in a kitchen.
