Description
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has some scratching.
The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition. Both the inside and the outside of the hinged case back are signed Wanderer.
The acrylic lens is in good condition (some white reflection showing in the photos).
The dial is signed Neva, a brand name registered by several companies, but this is likely to be Irénée Aubry who registered the name in 1903. The dial has several hairlines but they are faint. Blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a silver fronted travel case, with Moroccan leather covering. The case is secure, and a later stand has been fitted at some point, but it is showing signs of age with some marking to the leather and some unevenness and marking to the silver. There are hallmarks for Birmingham 1908.
All Prices Include UK Postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us for international shipping prices (Ddu, details in delivery information section below). Due to Eu regulations, we no longer post to the Eu or Northern Ireland.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a Vat registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
