A lovely early 20th Century triple door glazed bookcase from a large period property in the Home Counties. A one owner piece. Enjoying the quality on this one - solid well toned and chosen English oak, attractive solid brass drop knobs, working key for all the three doors, pleasing angles to the top of the doors, 9 adjustable shelves in solid oak and raised on those great looking acorn shaped feet paying respect to its history and beginning. The bookcase is reassuringly weighty and sits in fine order after a careful repolish in our workshop. We have sensible historic wear but nothing nasty to the frame, all doors are closing well with the key and the shelves are fully adjustable. Expect a lovely looking piece.
