Rare Art Deco Lloyd Loom Chrome Cantilever Based Chair Dated 1937

A rare and seldom seen Lloyd Loom chair with a chrome cantilever base base - very good looking and comfortable to boot. This one is dated Oct 1937 underneath the base and survives in good order - a relatively recent respray in a light stone colour with a hint of green hiding a pink colour. It's in good order - the chrome base has no cracks or repairs with aging and a little loss to the finish in places but not nasty. The seat and frame are in good order no movement etc and the sprung seat under the original fabric is very good with tightness and is usable. Our upholsterer would be able to offer a reupholstery service on the seat at a cost of £140 plus Vat and around 1-2 meters of fabric would be required - we are happy to assist in sample souring etc. A rather good looking and seldom seen Lloyd Loom chair.
