Description
An attractive and rare Derby porcelain figure of a lady dancing, holding a posy in her left hand with her arm gently swung across her body and lifting the hem of her skirt with her right hand. Wearing a floral painted skirt, white bodice fronted frilly pink top and cream and orange brimmed hat, she is stood and a scrolled base against a low floral bocage. Patch marks to the base, c.1760-1770.

In excellent condition, a few small chips to her hat brim and feathers have been sensitively colour matched. Minor chips to the bocage and posy. No other damage, repair or restoration. There are a few fine craze lines in the paler areas. Very minor handling wear.
